Q:What weapon should I use when hunting wild boar?
A: It really does not
matter what weapon you use when boar hunting. Shot placement is the
key! I have never lost a boar while using a
high powered rifle with good shot placement. I like to shoot them in
the neck. The tissue is soft and the cavitation of the bullet does
considerable damage, while not waisting good meat. If you are using
bow, shoot them about two inches into the shoulder rather than behind it.
O.K. you have been sitting in your blind waiting for a few hours getting bored. Here they come! Where do you shoot?
